Grant is the founder of Smarter and Safer Products, a specialist consultancy company servicing the healthcare and retail industries.
Prior to forming Smarter and Safer Products, he spent 24 years working in the healthcare industry for GlaxoSmithKline in manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial positions. Over this time, he held a number of global roles and developed deep subject matter expertise in areas including serialization, traceability, brand protection, digital and smart packaging.
He has been recognized through several industry awards, including the Institute for Safe Medication Practices Award for preventing the spread of counterfeits in Nigeria and the Best Pharmacy Initiative - Falsified Medicines Directive anti-counterfeiting model.
Grant has been a trusted advisor in defining the industry's advocacy and strategic approach to anti-counterfeiting and product traceability in Europe. Working closely with the European Commission, European Medicines Verifications Organisation, and other industry associations such as EAEPC, PGEU, Medicines for Europe, and GIRP. This has recently included leading and co-chairing cross-industry working groups looking at the operational aspects of running the EU FMD systems.
He was an elected member of the GS1 Global Healthcare Leadership Team for ten years, developing the organization's strategy for driving adoption of standards to increase patient safety and lower healthcare costs globally. During this time, he also held the role of co-chair of the GS1 Healthcare Public Policy group, which provided advocacy and advised regulators and authorities on how to implement Global Standards.
As an industry-recognized expert on digital smart packaging, he now Co-chairs the GS1 Digital Link Working Group, which is developing global standards to "web-enable" barcodes, which enable a connection to be made between the physical product. It's a digital twin for applications such as electronic leaflets.
Grant has a Degree in Business Studies, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Lean Sigma Green Belt. When not working, he is a musician and DJ performing internationally.

Gregg is currently the US Serialisation Lead for GSK leading work on the US DSCSA saleable returns project and planning for GSK’s long term solution for the US DSCSA requirements in 2023. At GSK, Gregg has held positions ranging from Analytics Reporting Manager in R&D Clinical Operations, Data Lead for the US SAP implementation, and Acting Director of Data Quality in the Transparency Data Operations & Reporting team in Pharma Finance. Prior to GSK, Gregg worked for 6 years at Pfizer in Global Logistics & Supply in the Global Enterprise Data Management group focused on SAP Material Master. Gregg has over 20 years of experience in multiple Leadership & Senior Data roles in the Pharmaceutical, Finance, and Software industries.
Gregg holds an MBA in Management from Saint Joseph’s University’s Haub School of Business and a BS in Business Administration from Rider University. Gregg has a passion for data, systems, & business processes and strives to work towards solutions that benefit all.

Amit is leading the Novartis Serialization and Product Tracking (SPT) IT initiative to meet the different Track and Trace requirements across geographies. Besides SPT, he is also responsible for implementing Anti-Counterfeiting and Electronic Product Information technologies in Novartis.
He has an overall experience of 18+ years and has been working in the area of Track and Trace for the last 15+ years with exposure to RFID, barcoding, and other data carrier technologies. The majority of the experience has been in the Pharma industry, implementing a solution to meet the Track and Trace requirements for Turkey, China, EUFMD, Russia, and upcoming laws like US DSCSA 2023, Brazil, Indonesia. Prior to joining Novartis, he was part of leadership in SecTrace AG, a start-up in Track and Trace consulting, as well as led teams in Infosys Technologies limited in the role of Principal Consultant. He has been associated with various international forums to provide expert advice in the area of Track and Trace. Amit holds a Master in Business Administration in Marketing and Finance as well completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Martin Printz completed his studies in physics at the University LMU in Munich and KIT in Karlsruhe and then did his doctorate for the “CMS” experiment at CERN in Geneva. The focus was on big data, interfaces, and software development. At the beginning of 2016, he joined Systec & Services GmbH to coordinate MES rollouts for international clients. In 2017, Printz built up the serialization business and successfully managed it until the end of 2019. In parallel, he acted as lead consultant and was responsible for global rollouts at one of the biggest global generics manufacturers. Since September 2020, Printz is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Körber Pharma Consulting.
Massimo Pizzochero is a senior product manager with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, currently focussing on business intelligence and data analytics tools for the pharmaceutical sector. Massimo acts as a commercial front-end for SEA Vision's data analytics and automation tools and liaises between the sales and technical departments, providing strategic insights to country and regional sales teams. He works with manufacturers to uncover the hidden potential with-in their manufacturing process by highlighting inefficiencies and exploiting and maximizing opportunities. He is passionate about new technologies and project management and takes a keen interest in business matters.
