George is the vice president client innovation at Atos UK, and a member of the Atos Global Scientific Community. His current research interests include: new business models; autonomics and artificial intelligence, and developing business applications for the Blockchain (the underlying technology of virtual currency BitCoin). He joined Atos business in September 2012. George’s role is to help Atos’ clients understand the business value of new and emerging technologies, and through this work with them to address their most pressing strategic challenges; typically engaging alongside leaders in Atos Consulting, Systems Integration, Managed Services and Worldline. George’s programme includes leading client innovation projects, workshops at our Business Technology Innovation Centre, and major client innovation events – including leadership of Atos’s global C-Suite level client StratHack programme.

Aside he drives the contingent workforce strategy and is actively pathfinding the way for Intel into a total talent management. His responsibility for external engineering and third party development spans globally. Outsourcing is a critical and integral part of Intel’s end-to-end R&D activities and right at the heart of the cutting edge of compute. Peter is a visionary business leader who regularly orchestrates the big picture. He provides visionary outlook to drive complex strategies and follows through on transformational initiatives. He believes in action rather than power point and gets energized by creating viable business solutions and salient values in partnering. Coming with a degree in business administration Peter held a variety of management roles in the past for direct and indirect materials and joint Intel Corp back in 2011. Prior to Intel he worked as a senior manager for Infineon’s purchasing organization and as Head of Procurement at Nero AG. His professional career is complemented with assignments in Corporate Strategy Departments for Deutsche Telekom, Mercedes Benz and Deutsche Boerse AG.

With a background in human-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, industrial design, and experience research, Miguel’s passion lies in understanding human behavior to create value through design. With a background in both corporate and consulting environments, Miguel has worked with dozens of Fortune 500 companies across the following industries: consumer electronics, telecommunica¬tions, financial services, automotive, retail, CPG, travel, health care, and education. Miguel holds a Master of Design Degree from the Institute of Design in Chicago, where he studied the planning and management of design and innovation.

Pieter started his career at Unilever in data science and moved gradually into the domain of sensory and consumer research. At Unilever he learnt the power of combining qualitative insights with solid numbers, and for more than 20 years he has been working on the interface between R&D and marketing. He combines a background in engineering with a solid understanding of consumer psychology to guide innovation projects.

Rich Bessel is a design leader with a broad background in business, technology, and customer-centred design. He is currently the marketing creative director for Intuit QuickBooks, where he is leads the design of brand awareness, product consideration, and value realisation experiences globally. Prior to QuickBooks, he spent the previous four years leading the design studio for Intuit’s TurboTax team, where he reimagined how customer research was done and totally transformed an organisation to put the customer at the centre of product creation and how to engage them in an end-to-end experience level. By introducing design prototyping to Intuit, he helped accelerate the time between concepts to customer feedback, enabling the #1 US tax preparation SaaS (TurboTax) to turnaround its business to realise double-digit growth year-over-year. Rich’s passion for design grew from his days at Nokia, he helped the design team understand the importance of customer engagement in product development at the intersection of hardware and UX. With an MBA from Duke University, two technical degrees and a design fellowship from the California College of Arts, Rich has taken a leadership track in the tech space and found his home in customer-centred design. It’s his passion to create value for people through creation and use of technology.

Bianca has degrees in architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and a Ph.D. in health-performative architecture & social design. Bianca’s former career path includes founding and CEOing two international expert companies working with evidence-based design and decision-making design. Additionally, Bianca has worked as an expert consultant for several public and private companies as well as a number of advisory boards. Finally, Bianca is adjunct professor at University of Copenhagen and University of Washington. In 2015, Bianca decided to join the LEGO Group as director of global design & engagement. At LEGO, Bianca and her teams in Denmark and Shanghai set the agenda for the physical work environment across the entire LEGO Group worldwide. This task involves all scales from designing new production sites, LEGO campus transport, employee housing, landscaping and parks, employee amenity buildings, R&D labs, sales offices, interior concepts, graphic branding. The design & engagement department is a transdisciplinary team of both interior designers, architects, urban designers, landscape architects, graphic designers, anthropologists, and process designers. Bianca has been part of the LEGO Corporate Facility leadership team since 2016.
