Lenore worked in The Cosmetics and Personal care industry in a clinical testing capacity for more than 20 years. Previous roles at Unilever and Coty working on product testing with ECRL for the past 16 years. Served as President of the DCES (Dermal Clinical Evaluation Society), have given presentations on clinical testing at SCC conferences as well as Claim substantiation seminars. Have advised the NAD on matters involving product safety and claim support and have worked with hundreds of clients over the years to demonstrate the safety of their products through clinical testing.
Dr. Mark Smith graduated with an M.Chem (Hons.) degree in chemistry and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. between chemistry and genetics. Before joining NATRUE in June 2014, he developed further his research career with two positions covering biotechnology (Leeds, UK) and the biomedical/pharmaceutical sector (Montréal, Canada). Dr. Mark Smith is a British national who has more than five years’ experience in Scientific Management. During the last ten years, he has been involved in the successful coordination of strategic and collaborative interdisciplinary projects via academic departmental and international research. Dr. Mark Smith became Director-General of NATRUE in July 2016.
Dr. Helena Eixarch is a Cosmetics & Toxicology Consultant providing regulatory support to clients in the cosmetics industry, including label compliance, Product Information Files, Cosmetic Product Safety Reports, and Responsible Person duties. She assists in product hazard classification according to the CLP regulation, biocides submission dossiers, and endocrine disruptor assessment. Helena has a degree and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry. She holds a Diploma in Cosmetic Products Safety Assessment and is a European Registered Toxicologist.

Tonya serves at the National Co-Chair of Seyfarth’s Consumer Financial Services Litigation group. Tonya’s practice is focused on a wide variety of consumer protection matters involving advertising and marketing, antitrust, and financial services issues. She has years of experience representing clients in private litigation, as well as government investigations brought by the state Attorneys General, the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, the US Department of Justice, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Renée's work spans two sides of the spectrum: the proactive and reactive. She works with companies of all sizes on the development of lawful products and marketing tactics, while also assisting clients who are subject to litigation or government enforcement actions. Her practice focuses on advertising and marketing, personal care and cosmetics products, consumer financial protection matters, and general regulatory compliance. Renée has a knack for problem-solving, which begins with asking the right questions of her clients, interpreting the rules and regulations that apply to her clients' situations, and devising expedited resolutions.
